i looked out my window and what did i see? popcorn popping on the apricot tree! literally! we had an amazing day of rain yesterday and i woke up to my apricot tree covered in delicate pink blossoms with the promise of many more to come. i love springtime in the desert. it is amazing how many things come to life in full color. spring in the desert also brings with it beautiful warm days, park play dates, walks around the neighborhood, outdoor shopping, and a breath of fresh air laced with a bit of a new beginning. so all of you snow bunnies, go ahead, keep the snow! i'll enjoy my spring!
