the olympics are finally here, we've been counting the days in anticipation and we have not been let down. we celebrated the opening ceremony with our neighbors and take out from pei wei. (fitting, don't you think!) we watched our favorite male swimmer, phelps, dominate and take gold, again, and have been enjoying the snippits of biking, gymnastics and all kinds of other sports! andrew was especially intrigued with the opening ceremony when the tai chi masters (i think they were masters) he is really into everything martial arts related lately. we even had our own olympic moment with him on saturday as he competed in his first ata competition. we were so proud of him. he was one of the only white belts to perform his form without help. so, here's to our future olympian and to all those who are competing! go usa!
